I don’t know what to think

Hey there. I hope you guys are having a great night. I wish I was watching the game tonight, but that isn’t happening. Instead, I am spending the night watching YouTube videos. You might be wondering why, since I am a huge fan of the NFL. Let me tell you why. It will only take a few seconds.

This has been an ongoing problem for a few days. We have been having the same problem, but it has gotten worse. See a few days ago Ariel and I were watching a T.V. show. Then as the show was getting good, the picture pixeled out. The screen froze for a few seconds before breaking back into the show. I thought that the receiver was just glitching out due to the weather. We went on with our lives, but then tonight we were watching the game. The game would freeze every ten seconds, which ruined the Cowboys loss for me. I knew I had to get this fixed, because I want to watch the upcoming games.

I am the type of guy that will go to YouTube for everything. YouTube is the best thing since meth. They have a video for everything, so I knew it could help me. I went on and found a video that was very helpful. The video told me to disconnect the hdmi cord from the back. The connection was supposedly corrupted and needed to be reset. I disconnected the cord and waited. But when I plugged it back in the problem was still there. At this point, I was done with trying to figure it out, so I called the technician.

If I can say anything about DIRECTV it is that their wait time is amazing. I only waited two minutes on hold before I got redirected. This is impressive next to what I use to wait with Comcast. When the woman came on the phone, she was a sweety. She was really sweet and wanted to help me. After a few minutes of trying to diagnose the problem, this woman had hit her limits. She was unable to help any further. This is when she sent me to the next person in line. That person was a little more irritating. She only cared about me paying for the service, instead of trying to get me help. She told me all the prices of the service, yet never asked me to do anything. She was quick to schedule an appointment that would cost me over $100. I told this woman that I wasn’t going to pay this because its not my fault that their equipment was bad. She then told me that it was that or I could sign up for a monthly protection program. Being done with this fight, I agreed to the protection program. The woman told me the time of the meeting, which happens to be on the day that I have to work. Now, I have to find a way to miss that day so I can be here with the technician. I am thinking about shutting my service off..

Am I overreacting?

Should I just let this go? I don’t feel like I should have to pay for a receiver because their equipment is crap. They should realize that the equipment is out-of-date and should replace it without question or another bill. I know that everything cost, but when I have done nothing to break their equipment, why should I have to pay? Someone please bring light to my selfishness.

No fucking signal…Get this fixed.
It was a long night at work, it was beyond busy and I was excited to get off. I was enjoying some music on the way home thinking about my video game that I wanted to play. When I got home and plopped in the video game, I put my headphones in my phone and turned on YouTube. Soon after the game started, I looked down to see that my Wi-Fi wasn’t turned on. I tend to turn off my Wi-Fi at work, because Wal-Mart has a signal that is very weak and my phone usually connects to it, causing all my notifications to not pop up. I turned on my Wi-Fi and went back to watching the YouTube video. Moments later a message popped up. This message was telling me that my phones data was running out (easy way of saying my phone has used a lot of data) I was unsure on why my phone was showing me this, but I guess its because my broadband isn’t working? Like are you serious?

I am disconnected from the Wi-Fi that I pay for. At&t U-verse has become one big joke. Their internet is slow, but that is okay for me. I just need this Wi-Fi to post my blog from my tablet, but right now I cant even do that. Now, I have to call these freaking people and listen to them tell me to do the same thing I just did, only for them to schedule a technician out, which wont happen until Monday, most likely! I don’t know how I am going to post, most likely I will have to make my phone a hotspot until I post my blog (Whoot, more DATA!) This has me so annoyed, I am sick of having to wait for people to fix their equipment, especially when I pay an arm and leg for the service. You would think that a phone service would have better internet and equipment, but nah, they don’t. This whole situation has me wanting to drop this service and go back to Comcast, even though they are rip-offs and super rude. I don’t know, All I know is that I am pissed and disconnected from the world, even while I pay the mass amounts of money to have such service…

Not only am I restricted from posting my blogs, now I have to be very careful on what I do with my phone. My dad, Ariel and I have been sharing 20+ Gigs of data, which goes pretty fast between us. One major reason is that I love to listen to songs on YouTube while going to work or coming home. Now, I can’t self-consciously watch a video without feeling some regret for doing so. I love to type with music, but I can’t do that. I want to watch a few FX videos, but I fear the consumption, and I want to catch up on a few of my favorites, but I know that will bleed us dry. I am so pissed, I am, I am, I amm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wrote this and can’t even save it to my cloud because of no internet connection. I’m so annoyed…

I am so original that I will post this original idea.
I have been watching a lot of YouTube, more than I really should be. There is this funny challenge going around, and all of the famous Youtubers have joined to do this challenge. The YouTuber “Nigahiga” came out with this challenge, as he was sick of all the diss tracks between other Youtubers. He formed this challenge to smooth over the heat, as now people were challenged to keep their hate for themselves. He then challenged a few of his friends to do so! I listened to some of the video and trust me, they were amazing! I especially loved ||SuperWomans||. This led me to think, I have a lot of friends, on Facebook, that have been dealing with life, and I thought that they could get their minds off their problems by doing this challenge. Now, the original idea was to rap, but since I can’t rap, I will simply write out my hatred for myself! I hope you enjoy. Also if you are reading this, you should do this challenge and tag me in it!

“Oh, look, you’re back at this, again. Don’t you know that no one cares, no one listens to your thoughts. You keep posting, hoping that one day you will get big, but you won’t. You have weak skills, you have lazy ideas, your grammar sucks, and you question yourself too much. You think you are great, but who confirms it? No one! That’s right, you keep begging for confirmation, you should just stop, pack up the bags and get out of town. You are not cut out to be a writer, heck you aren’t even cut out to finish this li…see you can’t even finish your thoughts. Is that why you keep going into a “Writers block”? Are you out of ideas? HAHA you are! I should have seen that coming, that’s why you always share previous work, hoping that you can come up with a good idea, but it never comes. You ran out of the magic years ago, that’s why no one stays around. Your dad is your own fan, how pathetic. He is the only one that comments on your blogs! If it weren’t for him, your blog would have less views than Hellen Keller. Wow, I just compared your blog to a great, when you don’t even deserve to be in the same category as dog poo.

You should stop! You’re not an artist, should I rewind back to your music career? Even your own sister wouldn’t listen to your first album. She pushed that out of her car, saying she wasn’t in the mood. That’s how everyone feels, though. No one wants to be bothered by any of your work! I hope one day you will see this, and will learn that you suck. But you wont, you will keep fighting for views, using clickbait to get ahead of the game, only to get a flat tire. The grim reaper has come and you’re done. …Night, night. Oh wait, did I forget something? I did! I feel like you now….Lets go back to Facebook….Let’s talk about your 34 likes on the page. You have been helping others, yet they have more likes than you, how pathetic! You cry yourself to sleep, every night, hoping that you will wake up and have more of a following, then will get jealous when others are better than you. Keep being salty, because you will never be good enough…have a good career at McDonald’s…..bye….”

This was simply for fun, I don’t feel this way at all. I actually love to see others grow. I hope you guys will join me, and share the love. I will love you forever if you give this a share!!!!

Themed post?
When I began this blog, I was using an application called “The writing challenge.” This application would give you a prompt for you to write to, then it would add another twist that you would need to add. There was no pausing during the challenge, which left everything up in the air. You could be in the middle of a sentence, and it would ask you to shift your idea in a new direction. I loved the app because it kept me on my feet. There was a slight backbone, but everything was like a tidal wave getting ready to crash into a wall. That was the life of this blog, it set a good guideline to post to.

Since then, I have changed the blog a lot, I have falling from keeping a guideline, or outline. This enables me to post anything that I want, whenever I want, but it hurts me because I have to build thirty different audiences. This leads me to question, is it worth not having to post about one thing, if it is going to lead to more work?

The largest You-tuber “Pewdiepie” is the same way that I am, he doesn’t stick to one idea for long. His channel is a outline free zone, meaning that you don’t go to his page for one thing only. That is what I want, I don’t want someone to come to my page to only read one type of material, but to experience the art of multiple posts. Why have a website if only one type of person can relate? That is the goal for this blog, which is to reach out to everyone. But at the same time, I do have an outline still, it just is different from others.

Recently, I have adapted a weekly themed post scheme. This cuts down on the chaos of posting, and will lead more people to my blog, if they need what is being discussed on those days. I will use one week to focus on one topic. Mondays and Thursdays are the themed days, meaning these days will focus solely on that topic. A few weeks ago, I used those designated days to talk about having faith in yourself. That is because that week I was feeling down about my future, but then I found help, and wanted to share to you guys. The rest of the week was designed to stay true to the original idea of this blog, and that is to stay random.

I don’t plan on comparing myself to Pewdiepie, but when I started to write this blog, I wanted to mold myself around someone who inspired me. Though we are also in two different arts, the creativity levels are almost equal. My art is as creative to some of his art, I see that his humor is almost identical to the humor that I flash to the world, daily. So why not take notes from a man that is being paid to do something he loves.

My dad came down this last weekend, which put my wife into the mood for the holidays. This always includes putting up the dang Christmas tree. Last year, it took almost three hours to decorate the tree. I couldn’t get the lights to stay on the tree, I even watched videos on YouTube. I found out that I was putting the lights on wrong. I figured that I wasn’t suppose to tie the lights to the inner part of the tree, which is what I was doing. I wondered why the lights didn’t look like those on lifetime, Now I know.

This year, my dad was excited to put up the tree with us. We decorated the whole living room with lights and  bulbs. Of course I had to gripe about my dad not fluffing the tree enough! It felt nice to decorate the house this year. With the house decorated, I can say that it feels like Christmas at the Jenkins house now. And my favorite part is that my dad put the lights on the tree this year, which means YouTube wasn’t needed. Sorry to those guys that specialize in those kind of videos.
The tree looks like this:

The Chair! Promotion!

The Kick Start!

The Kick Start!

Are you sick of the same plot in all horror movies, same cliché character development, same ole cinematic jump-scare, and the same horrible ending? Are you truly ready for a change in pace, ready for Hollywood to let go of the same outline? It is happening. I’m going to introduce you to the new generation of scary movies. This movie in-the-making will keep you up, because you will be too scared to close your heavy eye-lids.

If you are looking for the change in pace, look no further, Peter Simeti (President and publisher of Alterna Comics. Specializing in Graphic novels and Digital comics, ext. 2006) has announced that he has teamed up with Erin Kohut to turn his graphing novel The Chair into a cinematic thriller. This project as of right now is an independent film, though it’s an indie film, the chair has a cast that would make anyone want to sponsor it, including:

Bill Oberst Jr (Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies.) Eric Roberts (Expendables.) Travis Love (The Walking Dead.) Brian Thompson (Terminator.) Noah Hathaway (Battlestar Galactica.) Derrick Damions (white collar.) Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story.) Zach Galligan (Gremlins)

The movie takes place in a prison, where Richard Sullivan(played by Brian Thompson) is wrongly accused of murder and is sentenced to death. He witnesses his inmates getting tortured in the hands of their sick-psychopathic Warden, Enrik. Sullivan decides to take things into his own hands.

In a recent interview with Peter, I had to get in the mind behind this twisted graphic novel and find the inspiration, he stated “I wanted to create something cliché on the surface (Wrongfully imprisoned inmate? Come on, that’s been done a thousand times) but was actually very different than what’s already been done.” This being stated, you can see the pure determination from Peter to bring the world a movie worth watching.

It is very difficult to turn a book into a movie. Details are lost, and most artists lose their point in the transition, but Peter made it clear that he is watching over the script writing tightly. He also said that there have been a few elements added to help make the characters more believable. He told me that with all of the additions that the viewers will definitely love it, as he stated in the interview!

This film will be ready to buy on Dvd in the beginning of 2015 if it reaches their goal of 300,000 dollars. Peter told me that they are planning to film in October, giving them more than enough time to film. This film will be Rated R for: Strong Language, Gore, and Violence. This movie is similar to the fantastic title “Silence of the lambs” and less like the movie “Hostel.” So if you weren’t a fan of the constant sex-scenes in “Hostel” this movie is for you!

Let’s get serious now. This project needs support people that want this project to succeed. In the beginning I was helping because I wanted traffic to my blog, but when I began to read more about The Chair, I fell in love with the idea of a horror movie based in a prison. Now I am willing to donate, will you?

This project needs at least 300,000 Dollars to begin filming; this is only covering the minimal requirements, such as: Acting, filming, editors, and promotions. There is no time to wait, this project joined Kickstarter recently and wants your help! It can be a simple five dollar gift, anything helps! Five dollars is nothing, you spend that in McDonald’s, and Starbucks every day. Take that money and donate it towards this project, make a dream come true!

As Peter said- “If they’re tired of the same kind of horror film, please give “The Chair” a try.  It’s got a non-stop pacing throughout the whole thing, there isn’t an hour of build up where nothing happens and then the last 15 minutes might make up for it.   It’s a horror/thriller that will definitely require a second viewing (or three) ;)”
