What is really hurting me is that people are hurting. This is the season for everyone to come together and feel loved. Christmas is about getting together with your loved ones and enjoying each others company as you celebrate. It doesn’t matter your beliefs, it doesn’t matter about money, all that matters is that you are together. Christmas is suppose to be about love, so why is everyone having such a rough time? Why do I see more depression and broken hearts, more death and a lot more negativity? Is it my set of friends or is everyone having a horrible season of holidays? Either way, what can we do?

I am a huge Facebook user, and each day I sign in and spend hours looking through post. I like to keep up with old friends, that I don’t usually talk to. I also like to share in special memories of others, such as babies, new cars, and much more. One of the biggest things I love to read are praises or small things that make peoples lives awesome. Recently, I found out that a close friend went on a prayer walk, one to get himself closer to God. He had a great time and got a lot from it. These little things make me so happy, then we also have those post about a girl that can’t take life anymore, these post are what get me upset.

Where, in life, do we find ourselves in so much pain that we have nothing to live for? I remember laughing and having a great time, as a child. Yet, somewhere we were giving a curse of depression? When did life get so hard? I’m not sure, but it is a huge problem.

We are talking about MILLIONS of people that suffer from depression. These are people that feel unwanted, abused, torn, worn, and alone. At one time, these people were happy, but something happened to where they fell and hit rock bottom. One of the main reasons is death. Everyone has lost someone due to death, it is the cycle of life, but that doesn’t mean it is easy. A death in the family can tear apart the most perfect relationships. A death as a mother can leave children broken for life, making it hard for them to even get through the day. Other reasons for depression can be; Failed classes, failed dreams, breakups, being ignored, loss of friends, money problems, and bullying. The list can go on for hours, but that isn’t the point. The point is; we have the chance to change this, by simply being there for them during the hard times!

I don’t want to see anyone hurting, especially during the holiday seasons. We are meant to be happy individuals, so what can we do? The answer is simple; we need to show them that they are loved. This doesn’t have to be a big gesture, it can as simple as texting them and telling them you love them, or inviting them over to your house for dinner. The smallest gestures can help tremendously. People just want to be wanted. They want to know that you are thinking about them. This is why Bart and I are sending out love!

I want to call this “Love for Christmas; A Better Gift.” This is where I will try to find those who are hurting and I will let them know that I am thinking about them! Bart (My Christmas Stuffed Animal) will write everyone (in pain) a small note, informing that person that they aren’t alone. I don’t know if this will help, but I have to do something. I think everyone of you guys should do the same. Write a small note to those you love, telling them that you are thinking of them, praying for them, or that you love them. It doesn’t have to be a long message, but I promise it will mean the world to those in pain. This Christmas, we need to let everyone know that we are together, as one, to celebrate. Will you do it?

We have had the first snow of the season! This is amazing, this is the best day of our lives. If you disagree, then you are with me 100%. I am regretful to say that I hate the fact it snowed. I don’t like to be wet, I don’t like to have frozen toes and the last thing; dumb ass drivers. Yes, I hate winter, not because of the cold(because I love the cold,) but more because drivers get stupid during winter.

Have you ever been behind someone during the winter? If you are me, you will get behind someone that brakes every three seconds and drive 10 mph in a 55mph zone, and if you are me you begin to scream at the top of your dang lungs. I can’t stand drivers that change how they drive because of the weather. I can understand slowing down so you don’t lose control, but go a decent speed limit! And if you can’t do a decent speed limit, then get the hell off the road so the real drivers can get to where they need to go.

These drivers put everyone at risk because you never know what they are going to do. I was behind a person one day, driving home from work, and all of sudden they slammed on their brakes. It was snowing and I guess they felt like they were losing control. Either way, they slammed on their brakes. Now, since I am an active driver, I saw that they were stopped seconds late.  I didn’t hit the car, but I remember putting my foot to the floor and praying to slowly slide to the stop, in which I did. I came inches from hitting the car. The worse part is that they didn’t have a good reason to drive so cautious. Yes, it was snowing but it wasn’t that bad. They were simply just too cautious and didn’t want to wreck, but they almost caused a wreck in the process. I find myself staring at cars, making sure everyone is doing their part to keep the streets safe, but what if this wasn’t the case. I would have ended up in that cars ass, which could have left someone dead!

I hate how people think that a small storm is something to freak out about. It is simply snow or rain, its not like fire is falling from the sky! If you aren’t stupid, then you wont get into a wreck, but being too cautious is also dangerous!!!! I told you a story about a car that was being too safe. I don’t know why those people were braking over and over, but I do know there are more people like that on the road, so be careful and drive safe.

Top 10 football teams
With football on the way, I was thinking it would be a good time to talk about favorites; this being my favorite teams. This will start with 10 of my favorite teams leading up to my most favorite, while I try to tell you why I love them.

10. Minnesota Vikings—Adrian Peterson.

9 . Jacksonville Jags– I will admit, I didn’t give a crap about the jaguars until they got the new helmets. My attention was never on the team until the change, but now I will watch a game for other reasons. I like Bortles, I think he will make a good franchise Qb, especially with targets like Hurns and Robinson. They are an underdog that I love to root for.

8. Cincinnati Bengals– My hatred for this team was none-the-less due to Ochocinco. I thought he was a loud mouth baby that wasn’t that great. He turned the game into a big show and cost the team games from doing so. But now, with Dalton, Green and Eifert I have come to enjoy a game or two from them.

7. Pittsburgh Steelers– I love them so much, because I have a few of their players in fantasy and they are doing well, other than that they can eat dirt.

     6. Carolina Panthers– one word; Olsen. Cam is just to whiney for me, but Olsen makes the game fun. He is a dominant Tight End that loves the game, and he shows it every time he is out on the field.

     5. Seattle Seahawks– They are a great team to sell a few years into, that’s why most people ride the band wagon. Russell is a great QB and will be for the rest of his career. He is the true reason I can stomach this team.

    4. Denver Broncos– The donkeys have dominated the league for the last few years, and they keep doing so. We thought since they lost the Chief, himself they would go back to being a rebuild team. Siemen has proven that he could be a giant leader to this team, but we all know why they are winning, all credit goes to that defense! Von Miller is a monster.

    3. New York Giants– I thank them, mainly. I thank them for beating New England in the SuperBowl, giving them their first loss of the season and keeping Tom Brady from complete happiness. #FuckthePats

    2. Oakland Raiders– Their color scheme is awesome. I like silver with anything, so that really helps. But also, I really like how well they are doing this year under Carr. He is in the race for the M.V.P if he continues. They are my second favorite team, and my favorite team from the AFC.

   1. Chicago Bears– I know they might not be the best, but I started my love for the Bears in ’06. This was when they had Urlacher, Tank, Grossman, Vasher, and Hester. I was new to football and didn’t know who to pick, so I decided to go with a home team, which happened to be the Bears. It happen to be the same year we went to the SuperBowl, though we lost, I still have a burning love for the team. I just wish they would get their head out of their ass and get us a few wins..

Some teams might be out of place, but this is a rough picture of who I root for. I am big into underdogs, so that is why I pick the low end teams. Someday they will surprise the world, and we will all be in shock….well other than me, because I will be the one that was rooting the whole time. Have a good day!

Night Crawlers Journals

Episode 1: Goodbye September 18th, 2018

It was a cold day in September, there was at least three feet of snow that covered the ground. The wind was blowing hard enough to tear down the road signs outside Aeron’s’ room. Due to the cold, Mayor Thompson of Dummond suggested all bodies needed to stay in their homes until further notice.

KNOCK, KNOCK! Aeron heard two thuds on his door. He quickly got up from his bed and opened the door to see the second-in-command, Rich. Rich stood tall in the hallway with no facial expression; he looked at me as if he wanted me to speak first.

“Do you need something?” Aeron asked.

“That is sir to you; Mayor Thompson needs to see you, its urgent.”

“But he told all of us to stay inside our homes, Sir!” he replied “Well your home is up for grabs, Come with me.”

The walk to the city hall was awkward; no one spoke a single word. Aeron wanted to know what the mayor could possibly need, and why it couldn’t have waited until this storm passed. Why would he go against his own words to see Aeron? Was he in trouble?

“Enter!” The guard muscled Aeron through the door. In the room stood: Mayor Thompson, Second-in-command Rich and the President of Residence, Harry. The all looked angry as Aeron walked in.

“Sit!” The Mayor pointed to the seat in front of the desk as he made his way to his own seat. Aeron quickly grabbed his seat and clinched his hands together, looking up at the mayor.

“As you know, one of our residents got infected last night. She died, and took one of our own today!” Aeron kept quite not knowing quiet what to say.

“We think it was your fault, you were the only one that exited the city”

“You can’t blame me for that!” Aeron slammed his hand on the desk. The mayor looked up smiling.

“Well I guess you’ll have to tell that shit to another group.” His voice got deeper, with more anger as he put his finger in Aerons face. “As of now; you’re out of our city. If you resist we will shoot.” His words range clear, he wasn’t playing around.

Aeron fought for a few minutes calling the mayor every word in the book, but the words didn’t get him anywhere; the decision had already been finalized.

Aeron was escorted back to his room to collect the rest of his few belongings. The city gave him one can of mixed fruit, and a blanket before they shut the gate behind him. Aeron set out in the cold by himself; turning around he said goodbye to his home as a tear fell from his cheek.
