I don’t know if you heard. I don’t know how you haven’t heard, if you haven’t heard. But if you haven’t heard was has been heard by others, then you wouldn’t know that today is nation women’s day. A day in honor of all the women of this beautiful paradise that we called Earth. This can range from your mom, spouse, bestie, or any other women you might see, today. The main thing is that we show the appreciation that is deserved. Without women we would merely not exist. It takes a man and woman to have a kid and guess what? You were a kid. This entitles you to say thank you, even if you don’t want to!
I personally don’t have a strong relationship with my mother, but I still thank her, everyday for having me. She might have turned out to be a so-so mother, but at least she kept me.  She could have said “screw this” and terminate my process, but she didn’t. For that, I am truly thankful.

This goes further than just our family, though. In history, we have had a few amazing people that deserve a thanks.
Susan Anthony was an advocate for women’s suffrage, women’s property rights and the abolition of slavery. She tried to vote in the presidential election and was denied, but the 19th Amendment, that gave women any rights, was named after her.
Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell was the first woman to receive a medical degree from an all male medical institution. She opened the New York infirmary for women and children with her Sister, Emily and Dr. Marie Zalrzewska. She used her resources to open a college devoted to train and give necessary experience to women who wanted to be in medicine, while also giving specialized medical care to those whom couldn’t afford it.

Mother Teresa was a Catholic Nun. She devoted much of her time in charities that helped patients in war, gave Earthquake relief and ministered to famine victims in Ethiopia. She founded a way to help sick and the poor. She did this by her charity “Order of the missionaries of charity,” a group of women, with very big hearts!

Though, this doesn’t even touch base with how much women rule, I am going to stop there. I think that we all know how amazing women are, but we all should also do a little research and see how many other amazing women have shaped this world. You will be amazed on how many women a footprint in history. For all of this, I want to say thank you for your hard work. You are amazing people and deserve a day for yourself!

Take a walk with me. Tonight, we get to renew the best domain, ever. I have been slacking on this and actually almost lost this amazing website. I have been needing to go to the bank and put the $26 on my card, but I have been avoiding it, which turned out to be a pretty stupid idea. I got to the bank today and put the money on the card. When I got home and went to pay the fee, the website told me that I was only 20 hours away from losing the domain. I knew I would be able to get it back but I surely didn’t want to pay a late fee. It was an easy payment, though. Now, I have this domain for another year, which means that we are about to have some awesome fun!

Impromtdude was originally meant to be for short, funny post. It was suppose to be an impromptu thing that I would do, then I would  put in on the internet for you guys to read. In high school I use to love speech class. It was the best class of the day, which I use to rush to at the end of the day. I loved to talk in front of people and I became somewhat good at it. From the joy of that class, I wanted to bring that joy to writing. WE KNOW why I originally made this blog. I was going through writers block, but I wanted to get out of it. But after I achieved that goal, I knew that I wanted to keep it going. This is when I started to post funny post and hoped for you guys to like it.

Now, years later, we are sitting here. We just purchased the domain for another year and I am ready to make a difference. I just bought this book that is suppose to help with blogging, but we will see. Either way, know that a great deal will be changing soon! Get ready, get set, lets make some goals! My goal is to break 1,000 follows by the end of the year! Can we do it?

Well, I tried something new and failed. I actually went with the Browns and the Bears and they failed me, not like it was a shock though. We are looking at two doomed teams, I should have never trusted them. Other than that, I was able to watch the Chiefs game against Denver. The game came down to the final seconds in Overtime (after a td and a 2 point conversion to end regulation) in which the Chiefs kicker, Santos made the game winning td. This plus a few weak picks, I was able to save my great 93-64-2. Let us not look to the past, now we must look to the future. The future is bright, so lets get started.

I have been complaining about my job, all week. For this, I do apologize. I shouldn’t complain about my job like that, without my job I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the things I love to do. It might suck but money is the root of everything we do. If I didn’t have a job, I wouldn’t be able to pay my rent, light bill, gas, or cable bill. Without paying my rent, I wouldn’t be able to shower or enjoy a warm bed at night, or without paying my light bill, I wouldn’t be able to write, read, do effects make-up or even enjoy a hot shower. If I didn’t have money for my gas bill, I would freeze in the winter. I could live without cable, but  as I said last night, I wouldn’t be able to post a blog. My cable and internet are connected. So if I lost one, I would lose both. Since my tablet needs internet to post blogs, I wouldn’t be able to write to you guys. So I guess having a good paying job is pretty important.
These were some of the basic things that a job is needed the most for. I am not including all my activity expenses that I spend my money on. This includes; new footballs, new paints, new notebooks, new books, effects make-up, materials for effects, fake blood, things for my wife, and many other things. I spend a lot of money, something that isn’t possible without the amazing job that I have. That is why I am saying I’m sorry.
I don’t need to be pouting about what I have to do. Instead, I should be thanking the person for giving me another week on this pay period. I make great money and have for a while. So, sorry for everything I have said latley. It took me looking at my life to realize I’m in a great position. Life might not be fair at times, but everything will be fine, that is all that matters!
Though I’m saying sorry, I would like to say “thank God.” Thank him for this day, my day off. It’s my day off which means I get to relax and get ready for another week. Tonight we will be going to a haunted house/graveyard to enjoy another spook. I might also work on a new project. Tell me, are you ready for another SFX? I know I am;)

We all have that one fantasy, or something that we would really like to do. I know in my lifetime I want to see the Chicago Cubs actually win the World Series. This being said, this season looks to be the best chance they have, well until they started this series with the L.A. Dodgers. They have dropped their last two games, making it 2-1 and sadly putting them in the position to lose this series, since the next two games are in L.A. Now, let me clarify; I am not a Chicago Cubs fan, nor will I ever jump off my Royals. I am just excited to see history being made, which is what would happen if they did win the World Series. I went as far as promising something crazy if they do win.

I know I am in no position to negotiate with God, nor was that my intention. I just thought it was a good idea at the time. I recently posted to Facebook after the Cubs got shut out for the second straight game. The status said “I will finish my youth pastor studies if the Cubs win, because then we will know that God does exist.” I am being very serious. If the Cubs win, I will study the bible like never before, I will get some kind of certificate (somewhere in the future,) and I will become the thing most want me to become; a youth pastor.

Now, don’t expect me to do this all at once. Clearly I want to get back into studying and going to church and such. But it will eventually happen. I could be Jenkins (Jinx) it, but I thought this would get the Heavens to help the struggling Cubs, also I might as well finish the education I started.

The Chicago Cubs are on their way to get eliminated, and it’s all because of their batting. Their defense is what kept this team alive, thus far. But now without their batting abilities, we could see the cubs out in the next two games. Their hottest hitters (Rizzo, Russell, Heyward, Fowler and Zobrist) have only hit 12 out of their last 109 appearances (Playoffs). If it weren’t for Montero hitting the late grand slam, off the bench in game one, we could be looking at a 0-3 deficit. The Cubs have the pitching, disregarding Arietta’s horrible outing to win this, but something has to come back alive; their bats. They will need to find some hope in their bats and turn them back on. You can’t expect to not hit well and beat the L.A. Dodgers. The Cubs need to get their five big hitters back on track, or they might as well pack up and go home.

We will have to see what the future brings but I think we could still see history being made, this season. It’s not a big deficit, but they have to get back on their game. This is where we will see if the Cubs are the real deal. They have the talent, they just need to find a way to put it together and go after it. Cleveland will be waiting for the winner, lets hope it’s Chicago.

The 2016 NFL season commenced on Thursday night, as Denver took the first “w.” The rest of the week went very well, as we got to see a few very close game and got a taste on what to expect from this season. After week one we can only guess who will be in the playoffs, but I think I know who will be in the playoffs. We wont be able to make an educated guess until week 10, but if these teams played the way they did, this week, they will have no problem getting into the playoffs. I am no Guinness, actually I am not that good at analyzing teams, but bare with me.
AFC East: This is an easy guess. We have seen over the years that the Patriots wont be going anywhere, anytime soon. The biggest downfall for the Patriots is that they have 4 weeks without Brady (Suspended for deflategate.) This puts all pressure on their backup, Jimmy Garoppolo, as he will be setting the tone until Tom Brady returns. Garoppolo looked amazing Sunday, as he was down Gronkowski, giving Patriots their first win against a tough Arizona squad! Luckily, the Jets are the only opponent to worry about in the East, as Dolphins are still building and Bills well suck. This will be another year of Patriots in the playoffs, even without their starting Qb.
AFC West: This whole division is confusing and hard to read, right now. The Chief, Manning, is no longer with the Broncos, leaving them without a solid QB. They gave the ball to Trevor Siemen, sitting Paxton (Their rookie franchise), but I see Paxton playing in week 6. Though they are questioning a lot of things, the Broncos aren’t questioning their Defense. They have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and this will help them win their division. Though the Broncos will win the division, it wont be easy the Raiders and Cheifs are playoff contenders and will give them a run for their money! I say it will come down to the last few weeks.
AFC North: Bengals or Steelers? Hold on, Ravens are getting better? Oh my God, who do we choose? The Bengals made a run for the title last year, this was until Dalton broke his thumb, and was forced to watch his team from the sideline as they lost. The big problem with the Bengals is their o-line could stop the pass rushers of New York. This leaves the Bengals very vulnerable, especially now that Eifert isn’t back until week 4. Ravens aren’t a playoff team yet. This leaves one team left, Pittsburgh! Yes, I said the Steelers. As long as Big Ben stays healthy they should have no problem winning their division.
AFC South: This is the worse division, hands down, in the AFC. Any team can win four games and still win a playoff spot. The problem now is that we have three good teams running for the top. The Colts, Texans, and the Jags! I don’t know what happened to the Colts, but they didn’t have a good game Sunday, since I refuse to believe that the Lions are actually better without Megatron, I will say that the Colts didn’t have it together, Sunday. The team that really impressed me was Jacksonville. They ran right beside the Packers the whole game and only lost by 9. This is pretty good, especially now that Jordy is back! I want to say that the Jags will win the division, but I can’t go against Hopkins and the Houston Texans. Once Osweiler gets his flow going, he will lead this team to the playoffs, though he will lose in the first round, it is a big step in the right direction.
AFC Wild Card: The Bengals and Chiefs will be the teams to expect here. The Chiefs are out for blood, since their season ended early last year. The Bengals still have Dalton and A.J. so expect them to get their o-line together and explode in the mid-season.
NFC EAST: This is pretty easy. The Giants are the only reasonable option here. The Eagles have Wentz, but he has only played the Browns, so I can’t say he’s the real deal yet. I did like Prescott (Dem Boys) but we know Romo is coming back soon, and he will be taking back the starting position. Romo isn’t the guy to lead the Cowboys to the playoffs, so unless they stick with Prescott, you can expect another season at the bottom, below the Redskins.
NFC West: The Cardinals looked decent against the Patriots, but they also looked horrible. They lost to a team without any of their real weapons. This doesn’t make their season promising, at all. They do have a pretty easy schedule though, so we will see. The winner of the West will be the Seahawks. They will get their offense together and come out hot against the weak side of their schedule. You never doubt Wilson, so as long as he stays healthy you should count them in.
NFC North: Being a Bears fan, this section makes me so bitter. I want to say the Bears, but that would be foolish. I have come to the conclusion that we are in a rebuild. They have a young team, so we will see in the next couple years, but for now we know who wins the North. The Vikings would have been a good contender, but without Teddy they aren’t the same team. Bradford didn’t work in Phili and he wont work in Minnesota. The Packers, on the other hand, are back to their full strength. They have Devante Adams, Jordy Nelson, and the two Rodgers. This team is primed to make it far in the playoffs.
NFC South: Drew Brees is going to have a 4,000 yard season, in one of the last seasons of his career, and this will push the Saints close to the top, but they will fall short to the Carolina Panthers. Cam Newton and that Defense are hungry after last year, something that will fuel them to go hard. It is simple to say that Panthers will be in the playoffs, but not at 15-1 like last year.
NFC Wild Card: The Cardinals and the Saints will be the teams to watch. They might lose their division, but they are two teams expecting to make a splash.
This is a very rough thing to do, because who knows what will happen. Also, I wasn’t able to watch any preseason games, which makes it hard to know what teams have. I just know from what I have seen so far, this is going to be an amazing year, and should be fun to watch.

I am ready!
I am watching NFL HQ and thinking about the next season. I am ready for the boys to get back out on the gridiron, but also I’m ready for the all wondering fantasy football. The time of the year where men get together and compare their stats, also fight for the championship. I had very fun time, last year, and I’m ready to get back in the playing field. I didn’t last year, but that is fine, because I’m coming back for my championship that lies the hand of my good friend.

This year, I will be doing a live league, compared to an old online league, with a handful of my wonderful wo-workers. The same co-workers that played last year. I am excited to be able to do this with my friends, and I cant wait to see what they have learned over the last year, and how they will differentiate their team to get the best results. I know that I have learned a lot from the last few years, and that is trust your gut.

If you are playing fantasy, trust your gut! It is important that you don’t overthink your decisions about your line-up. Don’t look at stats and think “I shouldn’t play him, maybe him, or him” that will just leave you confused, when in reality, you were doing just fine with the first guy. Now with your new guy, you will possibly get less points, all because you didn’t want to trust your gut. Now there will be times where you will need to make a educated guess, but go with what your gut says. If you think a Brady against the Bills is better than Fitzpatrick against the Bears, then keep your decision and hope for the best.

I will also be doing an online ESPN league that will be testing different line-ups, so it wont be a serious league. I want to see what some of the sleepers are doing, so that is what it will be for; it will be to test the new rookies or players coming off injuries. Also it will be used to help new players, which I am inviting whoever is new to fantasy to this league. This league should help new players learn the scoring, also what works and what doesn’t.

As the new fantasy season opens, so does my Facebook page; Gridiron Retreat, a website used to help fantasy players with their league, also to update football lovers on what is happening around the league! I didn’t post as much as I wanted to last year, but this year will be different, since I have a little more time. I am attempting to post everyday, hopefully moving up to posting multiple times a day. I don’t know what kind of effect this will have on Impromtdude, but once it gets closer, I will let you know!

Themed post?
When I began this blog, I was using an application called “The writing challenge.” This application would give you a prompt for you to write to, then it would add another twist that you would need to add. There was no pausing during the challenge, which left everything up in the air. You could be in the middle of a sentence, and it would ask you to shift your idea in a new direction. I loved the app because it kept me on my feet. There was a slight backbone, but everything was like a tidal wave getting ready to crash into a wall. That was the life of this blog, it set a good guideline to post to.

Since then, I have changed the blog a lot, I have falling from keeping a guideline, or outline. This enables me to post anything that I want, whenever I want, but it hurts me because I have to build thirty different audiences. This leads me to question, is it worth not having to post about one thing, if it is going to lead to more work?

The largest You-tuber “Pewdiepie” is the same way that I am, he doesn’t stick to one idea for long. His channel is a outline free zone, meaning that you don’t go to his page for one thing only. That is what I want, I don’t want someone to come to my page to only read one type of material, but to experience the art of multiple posts. Why have a website if only one type of person can relate? That is the goal for this blog, which is to reach out to everyone. But at the same time, I do have an outline still, it just is different from others.

Recently, I have adapted a weekly themed post scheme. This cuts down on the chaos of posting, and will lead more people to my blog, if they need what is being discussed on those days. I will use one week to focus on one topic. Mondays and Thursdays are the themed days, meaning these days will focus solely on that topic. A few weeks ago, I used those designated days to talk about having faith in yourself. That is because that week I was feeling down about my future, but then I found help, and wanted to share to you guys. The rest of the week was designed to stay true to the original idea of this blog, and that is to stay random.

I don’t plan on comparing myself to Pewdiepie, but when I started to write this blog, I wanted to mold myself around someone who inspired me. Though we are also in two different arts, the creativity levels are almost equal. My art is as creative to some of his art, I see that his humor is almost identical to the humor that I flash to the world, daily. So why not take notes from a man that is being paid to do something he loves.
