I don’t know if you guys have snow, but I know we don’t. It hasn’t felt like the holiday season without, but I will make this a joyful time still. Santa will still come and give me the best presents, and I will share with you as much as I can, even if I don’t want to. Santa will still crawl down my chimney, even if I don’t have one, he will make one and will come down it. He will for some reason not rob me and will leave me some awesome presents, which I will open and enjoy for the whole month that it’s still new.

Tomorrow is actually Christmas, but I don’t want to be on the computer during Christmas, as that would be rude… This is why WordPress allows you to schedule posts, so you don’t miss a beat in your life, while also sharing every memory with those you may never meet in real life. My Randoms, this feature is for you. You get to read this awesome post, all while you open presents and share heart filling memories with your own loved ones. I am making this post to wish you a merry Christmas and happy holidays.

I pray that you take this season to reconnect with those you may only see once a year. I pray that you get what you need and enjoy everything people get you. I pray for safe travels, if you are driving to see family. I pray that you get receipts from Aunt Mary, because who truly needs three blenders, like seriously, Mary, get it together! I clearly sent you my wish list on Amazon. I pray for healing in broken families and restoration with all relationships that can be saved.

If this is your first Christmas since the passing of a loved one, I pray for the peace of the Lord to come and blanket you. I am truly sorry for your loss! I don’t know what it feels like, but I know it isn’t easy. I hope that you still have a good time with those whom love you, also know that that love one is looking from heaven as you open that present. They are happy that you are making it through the pain, so keep kicking pains Arse. It has to be hard, but God gives people to us to help us through things, so if you are in this situation, look for those who can help you, cling to them and never let go.

If you are in a broken family, full of drama and strife, I pray for restoration. I pray restoration flows into those walls and God brings back together those relationships that aren’t toxic, and begins to change those who are toxic. God wants us to be united, so do what you can to bring peace into your family this Christmas. If you have tried and it doesn’t work, forgive them and move in your own destiny. Don’t give power to these people. Every time you get mad at them, you give them power over you, so stop and forgive them. You don’t have to talk to them, you don’t have to do anything with them, but at least forgive them so you can live your best life.

You guys are so strong. You are awesome and are truly presents to me. I am glad to have you guys and I pray that 2019 brings newness to this blog and it brings us all closer. 2019 is going to be a busy year, as I keep telling Ariel, so get on the train and take one hell of a ride. With God in the center, I can only imagine what all we can do!

I hope that you have a great Christmas. I hope you get what you want and more, but also that you find happiness in giving. I challenge you to do one great thing, then come here and tell us what you did. This can range from paying for someone’s coffee, or maybe you talk to a family member that you don’t like to talk to. Anything that shows love, do and tell!!!! I love you, guys!

Hello, my name is Santa. I have been watching you for the whole year and I am not impressed. I am not impressed one bit on how you have been acting. Those naughty pictures that I have seen you send, those shots I saw you down, the 50th person that you have laid with. I am not happy with your actions and I will not be sending you anything in the mail. You have crossed my path one too many times and I am done with you. I am a jolly man, but I will not tolerate you being ungrateful of all that I have done. I work year round to make sure you have nice things, and you can’t even give me one day of pureness? That’s sad. I want you to known that you were getting everything that you wanted, and I was going to throw in extra because I felt you deserved it, yet you disgraced my name.

The elves first told me about what you were doing. I gasped because that isn’t you. You would never do those things, but then they showed me proof and I was shocked. I will be sending three things to you that I wish you will cherish and use daily. These three things will bless you if you allow it to, but will not if you ignore their purpose. The three things are:

1. Promise ring I am sending you this to not make a promise with someone else, but instead, so you can make a promise to yourself. You have made yourself and your family look so bad, and I tihnk it is time that you change. Make the promise that you will allow your flower to bloom instead of making the mistake of giving everyone the smell. Stop allowing random gardeners to reap off the hard work that you put into making that flower special. Everyone does that, be different and be special. Promise yourself to a good person, not just the guy that helps you water the flower. When you meet the right gardener you will be blessed with the best seasons ever, but don’t try to force these seasons, for that will lead to an unfulfilling reap.

2. A dictionary You allow trash to come from your mouth, because you only allow trash to come into your body and spirit. A dictionary is just what you need. It will give you the knowledge and wisdom to not only say smart things but to also know when to shut up and walk away. Remember you don’t have to win every fight, some are not worth your time and make you look silly in the process. Every time you over react it makes you look stupid, so read! A book wont hurt you, so pick one up and learn from it. Also, stop using dumb slang words! You are a smart individual, so start acting like one! You don’t have a baby daddy, you have a father to your child, you aren’t lit, you aren’t plug, so shut up and read! It will help you!

3. The bible! Yes, I am Santa and I am putting God down as one of the things that I am sending you. This is because I know how important the faith is. The Bible will help you make good life decisions, it will help you be a better person and will hold you to a high standard. I personally read the bible daily and pray anytime I have a chance. I wasn’t always a jolly ole man, but when I saw the light, I knew that I had to run to it. I went from simply giving kids socks and shoes to giving the love of Christmas! You really need this and I hope you actually take time to check it out.

I love you guys so much. I have watched you all grow into strong young peeps, and I hope to see you grow more as you have kids yourself. Always hold your kids to a high standard and never let them waiver. Remember, you are always in control, it doesn’t matter if they wont stop screaming, you are in control. I pray that you love your gifts, even though you have been very naughty, and I will see you guys again, next time around.

Welcome back. Thank you for the love and support on the last post, and as I promised, I am back as scheduled. I broke the schedule and actually wrote this yesterday, because I need to spend all of today getting prepared for an awesome project with a local artist. Yes! You heard right, I am back to promoting local talent. This will be a huge project for me, so get ready to like that crap. IF you like anime, gaming or just love awesome people, then you will want to pay attention.

Today will be a post about our first official day of snow, in Illinois. I went to Facebook and asked everyone to tell me what they wanted me to write about. Sadly, there was only one person that commented, but nonetheless, we will cover that topic. I want these days to be led by you guys, so make sure you comment when the status gets posted. That will be the only chance for you to get what you really want. Anyways, let’s get to the freaking topic.

Friday night was a good night for anyone like me. If you like the peaceful blanket of ice on the ground, then you would fall into that category. If you like to roast chestnuts over an open fire, while listening to Frosty, then this was the night for you. If you like the beach, long and warm walks along the shore, well then; this night probably didn’t set well in your soul. What I’m saying is; IT FREAKING SNOWED! God shed some of his dandruff and covered 20% of the ground with it. Frosty lived!

It wasn’t that great, but it marks the first snow of this year, and I can’t be more excited. I love the cold, snow, and everything that comes with it. Well, minus that itchy feeling you get after coming inside from the coldness, but that isn’t what we are talking about. I have always enjoyed the cold, so to see the snow fall from the sky was refreshing. It didn’t last that long, but it still happened.

I saw on Facebook that if it snows in November then it will be a mild winter. Some ole wives tale confirms this, so it has to be true, so don’t be worried guys, the dumb drivers will be back to honking at you soon, and won’t be going 10 miles an hour in a 75. Nothing is more frustrating than a driver that is being over cautious. I understand wanting to be safe, but I wish they knew that they are putting others in danger by doing this. So if you are one of these idiots, hear me! I HATE YOU!!!! LEARN HOW TOM DRIVE. LOL I am just joking, I love you :3!

Other than that rant on drivers, know that this is my favorite season, and I won’t shut up until everyone agrees!!! I want to see your pictures! Send me pictures of your snow @ Gregbjenkins23@gmail.com and when it gets closer to Christmas, we will make a post with the beauty. Either way, I’m out!

Why don’t I use my new tablet?
It has been three weeks since Christmas. On Christmas I received the best gift, ever. I was giving a gift, from my wife, that I couldn’t love anymore than I already do. The biggest problem is I haven’t used it. The tablet has sat in my desk since that first day, without being used by anyone; I haven’t even powered it on. The one question I must answer is “Why?”

To answer this question, we must first take a look into my brain. I am the type of man that has to allow things to get dusty before I use them. I am being serious. I still have a pair of shoes that I haven’t even tried on. The shoes are so sexy. They are blue Pumas that I have always wanted. But since I have already have shoes, I chose to leave these shoes alone, for now.

I think its because I never had new things growing up. Yes, I was giving things from my dad but what I mean is that I wasn’t showered with gifts.  I was giving enough to be happy, which is great but, I wasn’t like others that got everything that they want, so its different when I get new things. I cherish the new things that I get. I love this thing about me, I wouldn’t change anything. But it also gets crazy when I let good things sit off to the side while I watch it get dusty.

Now back to the tablet. I love the tablet, I just happen to love this one, also. I guess it’s because of all the work that is on this device. There is something special about this tablet. It was my first big gift from Ariel, maybe that’s why. But the most reasonable answer is because this still has life. This tablet will be used until it dies, then (and only then) will this device be buried. With this being said, I think I am going to start using the other tablet soon. I think the other tablet is going to compliment my writing, since it actually has a backspace button! I don’t know though. I guess we will have to see.

Anyway, thank you guys for reading. I greatly appreciate you. I don’t know why I wanted to tell you guys this, but I feel better now. Sometimes, you just have to express dumber feelings to feel better. This is why I am glad that I wrote this…Have a good night!

What is something weird that you do?

The warm weather made Christmas feel different. Then the rain brought down the spirit, more. But the worst part of yesterday was that a huge fight broke out. The fight left a few individuals very upset, but that didn’t last long. Our family can never stay mad. The fight was over within hours and there we stood, working things out.

This brings me to the meaning of Christmas. This was something that I did last year. But I have wanted to do it again. This is because during these times, I feel like we get caught up in the gifts, stress and all the wrong reasons to celebrate. This generation gets caught up with the idea of gifts and their selves that they forget to appreciate the small things.

I had a whole bunch of great gifts! I got my set of books, a car vacuum, new paints, Puma clothing, and a really awesome laptop! I couldn’t have been happier with the gifts, but that wasn’t the best part of the night. They best part came after the gifts were unwrapped. The best part was spending time with my family.

On Christmas Eve, I found myself hanging with people that I haven’t seen in about 4 years; this being my dad’s side of the family. We had a little get together. At first, I wasn’t able to find enjoyment, but after I laid down my pride I wss able to enjoy myself. This came when I actually started to connect with my family, again.

This might have been a good time, but the best thing came during the night side of Christmas, after a day of fighting. Everyone came over and joked around. Then my cousins and I decided to try all of the hot sauce that I had previously received that week. We sat around a table and pulled numbers from a cup to decide which hot sauce to try. During this, we all joked around and had a blast. The hot sauce was fantastic and it all showed that you don’t have to receive anything to love the season.

CHRISTMAS has became about getting the perfect gift. So much zone that we have forgotten that Christmas is about family. Love is suppose to be the center of Christmas. This being said, why do we stress out so much about buying gifts, that only brings anger and hatred. CHRISTMAS is suppose to bring families close, not tear them apart. That is the real meaning of Christmas. The meaning being; instead of worrying about buying a gift that honestly won’t matter in a year, why don’t we spend the time reconnecting and sharing memories as a family. Only then will we feel the magic of Christmas, again.

Last year I gave my meaning of Christmas. Take a glance at what I felt was the meaning. I will post this same thing tomorrow, but more of an updated version!

Christmas is here!
Christmas is here, the snow has almost laid its cold and soft blanket across the yards of Illinois and most of the world. The alarms are about to be changed to ten minutes sooner, so we can get up and remove the ice of our cars. The choirs are warming up their beautiful vocals, as they prepare to sing to the elderly. The bells are beginning to ring as you walk into Walmart, the bells are for charity, but we think of different things when we hear them (CHRISTMAS MUSIC.)
Yes the Christmas music hasn’t been cancelled. Rudolph is about to tell the world about his great adventure, Santa is reminding us to be nice. Jack frost is about to receive his hat again. The old ones are about to rock their hips around the Christmas tree. And how could we forget about dashing through the snow. Though we will get annoyed with the same songs that play in synch 24/7 until January, we will have our hearts warmed with the fire that is so delightful. But we will still have a place in our heart for sledding.
Am I too old now to sled? Of course not! You can never be too old to sled. Sledding brings a warmth to my heart that can’t be ignited by any normal flame. It is a delightful feeling to know that I’m still a kid on the inside. That is what Christmas is about, feeling like you haven’t all year. Christmas has been corrupted by the idea of gifts, when in my day it was about feeling warm with your family. Christmas was about being with family, and showing love to those around you.
I am excited about this Christmas. It is the first time in a couple years that I have felt this way. The feeling left when people started to fight about the phrase “Happy holidays” So many people got mad because there wasn’t Christ in that phrase. But we have to look past a silly phrase (That was put into place to suit everyone’s beliefs) and look at why we should be happy during Christmas.
Christmas to me was the one time that all of my family was in one place at the same time. People work hard for their money, meaning that sometimes they can’t attend family events. But with very few expectations, Christmas shuts down most stores. This fact gives everyone the same day off! We all would pile into my grandmas house and laugh with each other, talking about the past year and what has changed. There was never a fight on Christmas, never a disagreement, never resentment, never tears (unless of joy). It was like for the one day of the year, the world was fully at peace. I miss that.
I miss seeing families through their windows as you drove by. Like seeing a dad pick up a son or daughter, and throwing them up in the air. Or seeing the notorious snowball fight, where the dad would bring mom down to the snow. She was never mad though, she knew this was a part of Christmas. I miss hearing about family stories that were told on Christmas, now it is about how much was under their tree, it has become unbearable to hear about!
This Christmas do me a favor, and focus more on reconnecting with family, and less on buying that Xbox one. Materialistic things will break and fade away, but the family moments that we lock away in our hearts may become dim, but they will never be forgotten. As long as you hold on to those memories, nothing will be able to make you upset on Christmas.
Christmas, to me, is about family. Let us get it back to that!

It’s suppose to snow today! There should be snow falling by 9 o’clock in the morning! The snow chance is in the high 70%, giving us hope that we might actually have a white Christmas, the only problem is the tempature isn’t going to drop!

In order for the snow to last it must stick. In order for it to stick the ground has to be under 32*f but the weather says it suppose to stay above 35*F all day! The snow will melt before it can cover, well unless we have a blizzard! Oh that would be fancy, but it doesn’t look possible.

Even if it snows, we still have to go through all of tomorrow(Christmas Eve) with the weather being in the mid-40s. The snow wouldnt last! But what about Christmas? There is a high chance of precipitation on Christmas. The problem with this is that the weather is calling for rain instead of snow!

For another year, we are looking at a green Christmas. This time it will be a muddy mess, though. It’s going to rain all day on Christmas, which is definitely not what we wanted! I think you guys would agree that you’re tired of not having a white Christmas, right? I know I am right! Rain doesn’t give you a giving heart! No, it gives you a sour, negative vibe that could ruin a special day, like Christmas.

I stand for moving Christmas to January. The snow always falls in January, giving us a horrible start to another year. It’s okay to have snow during Christmas, but anytime otherwise is not wanted!!!! I suggest that we make this change, immediately! I’m tired of not having a white Christmas! Are you with me? If you are, give this a huge like!!!

Tis the season to be rich with love and hot cocoa. The frost from outside will only keep you cold for so long. This is what we need hot beverages for. That way we can come inside and sit in our pajamas, while holding a delicious and warming drink of your choice. With all this being said, what is our favorite drink (hot or cold) during the Christmas season?

My top seven hot drinks are quite familiar, but they are what I love to drink!!! If you are a fan of any of my choices, give this a big thumbs up. If you dont, then tell me what you drink!

1. Peppermint hot cocoa!- probably the best drink ever. A minty refreshing taste while also getting a warm chocolate blast.

2. Apple Cider- Either warm or cold, cider is worth a drink in the middle of winter!

3. Regular hot cocoa- sometimes I like to be simple. This is when I pull out the plain cocoa and make a delightful glass!

4. Warm tea- usually I drink sweet ice tea, but during the winter I find myself drinking a lot more hot tea!

5.  Egg nog- I haven’t been a big fan of eggnog since I tried alcoholic eggnog, but I still would rank it in my top 7.

6. Coffee (mochas and lattes)- I’m a white girl!

7. Sparkling white grape juice. All I can say is…..YUM!

What are your favorite holiday drinks? What do you recommend????

Let me know!

Today, I was giving one of the best presents, ever. This was a present from my retired grandma and she didn’t have to spend much money at all! She made the perfect example of putting her heart into the gift instead of a lot of money! The gift is a butterscotch pie!

I have always loved her pies, especially the butterscotch pudding pie. She made it one year for a dessert and I will tell you that I almost ate all the pie, myself. I remember from that day, I told my grandma that I only wanted that pie for Christmas, nothing more. She was happy about this since she didn’t have a lot of money to spend, and every year she would make me the best pie in the world.

This changed a few years back when I stopped going to family gatherings because of internal family issues. I know if I would have gone there would have been more fights, so I took myself out of the situation. After all, holidays are made for loving not drama!

But this year was different. We wanted to see my grandma and she wanted to see Ariel and I. This is when I made the joke, to my dad, that I would if she makes me the famous pie. He sent a quick text back saying that she would. I was joking, but now I can hit two huge birds with one small amount of a day. I was excited, but we couldn’t decide which day to go! This is when we decided on tonight, but since I worked those plans were cancelled. But it’s my dad’s bday, so we told him to come over for dinner. This was the plan; we would have him over and eat then watch movies. That way we got to at least see him on his birthday.

When he got to the house, he brought in two pans. I was unsure what they were, but I had a hunch of what it was. He handed me the pies and told me to enjoy. I was so overjoyed that I began to eat them minutes before dinner. I must say; she makes some amazing pies!
Now, after eating the pie, I can’t wait to see her! She showed that she cared enough to make the pies. So now I will hold my end of the bargain and go to her house on Christmas Eve! I really can’t wait to see her and thank her for the pies. Also, give her this amazing gift Ariel and I got her! But the main thing is; She makes amazing Fing pies!!!!

Let it feel like the very first time.
It doesn’t feel like Christmas time; well other than the horrid ice on the ground. For the last few years Christmas hasn’t felt like Christmas! I don’t know if its from being at work, a lot or if it is just not as magical as it use to be, but I don’t like it! I don’t like not feeling warm and cozy with family. I go back to being a kid and I started to thing; what does Christmas really feel like? Well, what did it feel like that is!

I go back to my childhood and all I remember was I didn’t buy gifts. Well, I bought my parents gifts if they gave me the money, but I never had to stress about what the perfect gift was. They were my parents, they were forced to love anything I got them; it was in the handbook!!!!!! The main thing was that they didn’t care what they got. But I never had to worry about the perfect gift, so I guess that is what put me in a magical mood for Christmas. Stress does amazing things to the body, especially make you hate the things you use to love.

We get so worked up over the perfect gift, that we forget to look at the things that we love. For me, it is the magical feeling of Christmas. For others, it could be the joy of making sugar cookies. Either way, we will want to buy the best present ever so we stress over what people think of a certain gift, causing a big stress bubble, also taking you away from doing the things that makes Christmas, Christmas.

To make a change we will need to do one thing; forget about presents. Who cares about presents, anyway? What you get someone will only last for two years, then those items will be replaced with new items; so why care about what present you get? Instead, why not make memories that will last a lifetime? As a child, I wanted to make non-bake cookies with mommy and then go to bed early. Then I would wake up early and sit on her lap and open presents, but that wasn’t what was important. I loved the time that we got the night before while watching movies and making snacks. If I didn’t get a present; who cares? Christmas is about joy. Don’t allow buying presents take that joy away from you!!!! That isnt the point of Christmas!
