We have a launch!
It has been a few months since Halloween. It was during that time that I started doing FX make-up. I am fully self-taught in this artform, but I can say that I am catching on.

Well, after my biggest fail during Halloween (my failed zombie) I must have lost focus, because I stopped doing any effects. It was until, just recently, that I got back into it. But to touch base with what happened; Ariel wanted to be a zombie, so I thought it would have been easy. This was my first time working on someone else. I prepped up the materials, I watched a video of someone else doing the effect, I thought I had it. I went to do the effect, and I chose a different path. I knew what I needed to do, but I thought about another way to do it (something I never tried) so I did that. I didn’t like how the finished product didn’t come out well, so I never shared what it looked like. After that effect, I chose to take a break. I didn’t know that I took this break until recently.

After a while, I chose that I wanted to do another effect. This is when I thought about a sliced open arm. I knew how to do it, what I needed, how long it would take, and much more. I just didn’t know when to do it. Finally, I took a night and did it. I didn’t have scissors so I ended up hurting the effect. Mainly, I ripped the latex while trying to open it. Either way, I enjoyed this effect and it turned out great!!!

H

After this effect, I ended up doing a project for my anniversary. Today, is my anniversary. We have been together for 4 years. Ariel is a huge fan of The Walking Dead. She loves it and watches it every Sunday. I have been wanting to make, Lucille. If you don’t know, Lucille is Negans barbed wire bat. To do the project, I made my own barbed wire with just regular hanging wires. I finished the project and gave it to my beautiful girl.

 She’s a beauty 😉

Now, I spent a few hours with water colors, last night. I ended up doing two bruises

Then, there is tonight. I wanted to do something small. So, I pulled out my bone collection and started to play with playdough. I have a big project Coming up, so I need to practice with molding bones. This is why I made a finger bone. I am not that good, quite yet, but I am getting there. I think this is good for my first time

I have a lot more coming, I just wanted to tell you what I am working on. Thanks for reading and I hope that you enjoyed what you saw. Have a good night, as I leave to spend time with my girl. It’s our anniversary, today!

We all have that one fantasy, or something that we would really like to do. I know in my lifetime I want to see the Chicago Cubs actually win the World Series. This being said, this season looks to be the best chance they have, well until they started this series with the L.A. Dodgers. They have dropped their last two games, making it 2-1 and sadly putting them in the position to lose this series, since the next two games are in L.A. Now, let me clarify; I am not a Chicago Cubs fan, nor will I ever jump off my Royals. I am just excited to see history being made, which is what would happen if they did win the World Series. I went as far as promising something crazy if they do win.

I know I am in no position to negotiate with God, nor was that my intention. I just thought it was a good idea at the time. I recently posted to Facebook after the Cubs got shut out for the second straight game. The status said “I will finish my youth pastor studies if the Cubs win, because then we will know that God does exist.” I am being very serious. If the Cubs win, I will study the bible like never before, I will get some kind of certificate (somewhere in the future,) and I will become the thing most want me to become; a youth pastor.

Now, don’t expect me to do this all at once. Clearly I want to get back into studying and going to church and such. But it will eventually happen. I could be Jenkins (Jinx) it, but I thought this would get the Heavens to help the struggling Cubs, also I might as well finish the education I started.

The Chicago Cubs are on their way to get eliminated, and it’s all because of their batting. Their defense is what kept this team alive, thus far. But now without their batting abilities, we could see the cubs out in the next two games. Their hottest hitters (Rizzo, Russell, Heyward, Fowler and Zobrist) have only hit 12 out of their last 109 appearances (Playoffs). If it weren’t for Montero hitting the late grand slam, off the bench in game one, we could be looking at a 0-3 deficit. The Cubs have the pitching, disregarding Arietta’s horrible outing to win this, but something has to come back alive; their bats. They will need to find some hope in their bats and turn them back on. You can’t expect to not hit well and beat the L.A. Dodgers. The Cubs need to get their five big hitters back on track, or they might as well pack up and go home.

We will have to see what the future brings but I think we could still see history being made, this season. It’s not a big deficit, but they have to get back on their game. This is where we will see if the Cubs are the real deal. They have the talent, they just need to find a way to put it together and go after it. Cleveland will be waiting for the winner, lets hope it’s Chicago.

I spent the night at a local haunted house. This would be my third time going to one, ever. The haunted house was called “The Boo Crew.” I found it to be a very well put together event. Since this was a first time, I didn’t know what to expect, but it was definitely worth the money paid.
First, you get to go through a outdoor path full of zombies, ghost, a chainsaw wielding maniac and a few clowns. The groups were too dang close, so we weren’t able to get any jump scares, as the other group received them all. This spoiled the fear and sucked up all the suspense. Other than that, we were actually having a great time, but nothing compared to the main event.
The main event is a barn full of special effects. The theme seemed to be maniacs, because when you entered the kitchen a woman jumped out. She would nearly push you to the door, screaming for us to not talk to her “slave” (a woman with her hands stabbed into a table.) The acting was pretty good and the jump scares were on par.
After the event, we were lucky enough to go back stage and see how they run the show. It is fascinating to see all the technology that is set up for a haunted house. In the first room, there was a big display of camera’s from all over the haunted house. Then they lead you through the back area and up some stairs. Once you climb up the stairs you are directed into the control room. This room had a wall full of wires that activated certain areas of the barn, the guy told us that one switch would kill all the props and bring the lights on (in case of an emergency.) This is precautions for the possible fire outbreak or in case a person got hurt.
We were able to talk to this man about his crew and what an average night would be like. He was unsure of the break system, but did notify us that they have designated persons that walk through with water, for the thirsty crew. He spoke about how, on a busy night, there could be up to 60 volunteer crew members. Also, any money they do make, they will go on to help the community by helping kids get glasses and many other charitable acts. In the back there is a break room full of goodies. I was excited more about the special effects taking place, as a woman was painting a clowns face.
While we were in the break room, my wife told me that I should volunteer. I really want to, now. I’m thinking about spending this year practicing, then I will offer my help. Either way, my cousin also brought up a great idea. He said that we should open up our own haunted house. I have wanted to create a haunted house for a while now, so we will see where that goes. We are thinking about starting small, possibly with a haunted hayride then working up. We have the talent, now we just need to make it something lively.
What should go into a haunted house? What is your biggest fear?

I have some amazing news, guys! I was at the Dollar Tree today, while shopping for some Halloween decorations. My wife is trying to get her store in the mood and she doesn’t want to be too expensive. Where is the best place to go? The Dollar Tree, which is where we go when trying to save a buck. Well, we were in the line to checkout, and I saw something. There is this pen that allows you to write upside down, and I happened to buy it, today. This pen is called the “Anti-Gravity Pen.” This pen is used in outer space, lets take a look at it!

image

I saw this pen in the Slim Jim box (Funny place to find it) and thought “Oh, a crappy, cheap pen!” The pen looked like a big piece of plastic that just was calling for you to buy it. I went ahead and picked it up. When I first looked at it, I saw that there was a few black dots on the top. I thought this was the grey finish just chipped off, as I said before I thought this pen was cheap. But it was only a dollar so I put it with all the other items, along with my sweet tea :3. I assumed that I could at least do a review of it, even if it was a piece of sh*t. I also love pens, so what if this was the best pen ever? I would be ppissed to know I let it go for $1.

image

When I finally got a chance, I finally looked at the pen. The first thing I noticed was the awesome box. On one side, it shows you the cheap pen, but next to that it shows you what the pen does. This includes facts such as it having smooth ink flow, being the same technology used in outer space and it is able to write at any angles even upside down. It is able to write upside down due to the sealed pressurized ink cartridge. Another awesome feature is that the pen came in a fuzzy, black holder. It looked fancy with the holder.

image

I picked the pen out of the holder. The pen isn’t plastic, it is actually a metal. I was amazed by the heaviness of this pen. After my amazement, I took a look at the “Chipped” paint, just to see that it wasn’t paint, but it was actually ink. This is a big problem with these pens (as seen on reviews) which scares me to think it will start to leak soon. Some say this pen leaks after two-days, so we will have to keep a watch out for it. Until then will use it. The writing is bold. I compared it to my favorite Bears pen, and it compared nicely. The flow seems to stay the same way and doesn’t cut out. I was happy with this until the Bears pen did the same. I couldn’t tell a difference, they seem to be the same. This could be because they’re both Ball-point pens, but I don’t know. Also, the pen writes upside down, but so doesn’t every other pen that I have. I don’t seem the hype with this certain feature, but the pen is cool overall.

image

I am pretty happy with this purchase. Though, I am pretty nervous about the Ink leaking, since I don’t want it to be ruined, but it is something I am expecting. I am just glad I only paid $1 for it. Likewise, if it doesn’t leak, I will be a very happy pen owner, but who wouldn’t be? How could you not want a “space” pen? I recommend this pen, since it is only a dollar, but also I don’t want to say “buy it” until I see if it leaks. I will keep you guys updated!!!!!

Trying it out.
We all have an opinion and emotions that make it original. Emotions are great to have since it makes it you, but also it can get you into trouble if you don’t think before expressing. Being a writer , I know that without emotion this job wouldn’t make since. The biggest problem is that people don’t think before they speak. People want to be heard, whether it’s a rant or excitement, they want to be heard! The problem is these people want to spill out their anger then make it public, then afterwards think about how that will affect their life. You have to be smart when expressing your emotions, you don’t want to tear a close one down because of momentary anger.
I started this blog because of emotion. I was torn from a girl that left me and I needed to get it out. I didn’t know where else to go, because people were saying “get over it,” that is when I turned to blogging. I knew that I would be safe if I didn’t share it with everyone. The blog was my personal blog that no one would know about, that I could go post when I was down. It worked. I had so much pain built up, that I was letting it affect my personality and how I saw things. After I started to post my EMOTIONS, I saw that I was able to finally live life again, did it suck still? Well of course, but I wasn’t holding everything in.
Where that story is great, there is also another side of Blake I hate! The down Blake that likes to dramatize crap on Social Media. The last week, I was notified about past memories on Facebook. When I looked at the memories, I cringed from how down I was. All of the statuses were me begging people for attention. “I am done with this” “I hate my job” “Screw the Church” were some of the comments. I was angry at how I was treated (from the church) and I wanted to be heard. But now, after the incident, I am fine and see where I was wrong to post. I should have let it go, but instead I made myself look foolish. I posted before I thought and it made me look like a teenage girl! That isn’t me. I am not one to rant on social media, that is why I have a blog, but I didn’t think before posting. I deleted a few of the post, since they didn’t represent who I am, but I still think “What if I didn’t post that, what if I thought first?” Sometimes we allow our emotions to control us, which can only lead to danger. I was watching this woman last night, and she was talking about how she wrote a blog about her family. She was mad about Christmas and just wanted to share her thought. She posted the blog without thinking, and the person that she was talking about happened to read it. She was no longer mad abut the situation, but now she had to fix the situation with her friend, since she emotionally about her.
I am a strong believer in posting to make a change. I post dumb material to make you guys laugh, just incase you had a bad day and needed a laugh. On the other hand, I post life stories to help those in need of the same thing. Then I also post rants, but I write them in a way to not offend ones person, but to express how I feel about the situation. Such as the anthem situation. I could have posted about it, but what could I say to help the situation? I couldn’t, because I don’t fully understand it, so I choose to stay out of it. That is where I control my emotions and where I stand. If I can’t help someone through something, then why post it? I love to rant, but I don’t like the negativity in my posts, instead I aim to be a life changer. This is my purpose; to use my emotions and thoughts to bring entertainment and maybe, just maybe bring happiness into those who need it!!
You can share how you feel, but first you should edit. The last thing you want to do is say something you will regret. It is great to tell everyone about a new job, but why should you call someone out? It isn’t going to help and you might regret it after it is out there. So if you want to negatively post emotions, make sure you take a few seconds and see if you can find a silver lining, then edit it accordingly. If you are sure you want to post it, then go ahead. Post your emotions, it is the most original part about you!

There is a man. He is standing in the shadows, patiently waiting for his chance to step into the light. The Lord has given him a gift, the gift that he will use to share God’s love across the world. He is a man after God’s heart and is showing it through his talents. Though he hasn’t blown up in the media, he is on his way to making a huge dent in the music industry. Being a local artist, you have to work harder than ever to get noticed, and this guy is doing just that. He is a man that puts his family first, yet has time to get on his hands and knees for the lord, also gives his all in his rapping career. He is on the rise, just be glad you now have the chance to know about him.

Casey Bounds, A.k.a Kastle Li, was born on July 17th, 1985 on the South side of Chicago. Casey was a big baby, as the doctors said “He is going to be a smart boy, because he has a huge head.” Casey grew up in a home that wasn’t as close as he wanted it to be. They didn’t bond like other families, which led to him not feeling loved, as a child. This pain from feeling alone poured over into school, where Casey spent 8-hours a day isolated from the masses of students. The main reason for the isolation, was from the lack of interest that he had for what others liked. On top of not finding same interest, He also was moving a lot, causing him to feel as if someone was pressing a restart button, on his life. Casey was bullied regularly and had a very serious case of depression, on top of all of that, he was told by the principle that his lack of respect, for Authority, which would cause him to never go anywhere. Casey believed him, as he saw his grades slipping and that he had no friends. He saw he wasn’t going anywhere in life. Though he wasn’t a big fan of school, History was his least favorite subject. The lies that are lined out in text books prompts Casey to tell us “ To Do your own research.”

Out of School, Casey seemed to have a great life. He especially loved to go to “Sal’s Pizzeria” where he spent hours playing Street fighter Turbo, this was also the place he was greeted to an amazing Greek special; A Gyro. Every Saturday, Casey was raising money, through chores, in order to beat E. Hunda. Though Street Fighter was amazing, Casey loved Summertime the most, where he spent the days outside, playing Red light, Green light, and two-hand touch football while eating a lot of delicious ice cream.

In his late teens, he would get a job at McDonald’s. While he worked at McDonalds, He would also go on to get his first car. The 1986 Ford LTD Crown Victoria was a great car, also being his first. He was able to get it for free, as it had been in the family for quite some time. The car was a gas guzzler, which was the only thing Casey didn’t like about it. Shortly after his first car, Casey would be introduced to something that would change his life, Rap. Casey spent a majority of his time writing poetry. One day, he lost one of his papers, this paper had original work on it. The paper got it into a rappers hand. The rapper happened to read over his work and returned it. When he gave it back to Casey, he told him that it would be dope if he added music to it. From the moment on, Casey wanted to be rapper. He graduated in ’04, wanting to be the best rapper with all the girls and money, that the career brought. He would soon grow up, and see that it wasn’t about that, at all.

In 2006, Casey was using his talent to release an album “Still Searching” (an album that was not released) which led him to an old friend. This friend was a Christian and wanted to help Casey find the Lord. Casey didn’t believe in God and labeled himself as an atheist. Casey was amongst those who couldn’t understand why the lord would allow such evil into the world. This would lead Casey to rage war against the Lord. But his friend didn’t give up, he spent time talking to Casey about his savior and invited Casey to go to church. Even though he didn’t want to, Casey decided to go to church with his buddy. He didn’t talk to anyone that day, staying completely to himself. His plan was to go in and get out, nothing more, but that plan was soiled fast. A youth pastor approached him during a worship session and asked to pray for him. Casey Reluctantly said yes and allowed this man to pray. During the prayer a peace came over his body, almost as a reassurance that everything would be okay. The pastor went on to tell him what Casey was dealing with, which astonished him as he didn’t talk to anyone before this prayer. Even the message was directed towards him, as they talked about hopelessness, something Casey knew much about. After the message, there was an alter call. Casey was wanting to refuse to go up and almost backed out. He feared what people would say, but something told him to go anyways, saying it was all going to be okay. The alter call led Casey to his knees as he cried like a new born baby. Minsters prayed over him, and in that moment, for the first time in years, he felt loved. The transformation led him to believe that he finally fit in and led him to feel as he was now someone. He says that the more that he searches and finds the lord, the better that he knows himself. He would use this love for Christ, in his career, as a rapper.

He was a Junior in high school when he began to rap. He took a huge step into a place he knew nothing about, and over the years he has changed. He isn’t the same guy that he was before. Before he was a secular rapper, one that would rap about the same topics as every other rapper. But in ’06, he was giving a wake up call, as he gave his life to Christ. After giving his life to Christ, He found himself in a worship night, praising the Lord with all his heart. During the praises, the Lord gave him a picture of a castle, the Lord said “This is where the King dwells, inside of you!” He took the “C” and replaced it with a “K,” to be reminded of the King. He is now a part of the CHH (Christian Hip Hop) genre and uses his wonderfully written songs to talk about the Salvation of the cross and how to grow from the inside.

In 2009, Casey lost it all, when he found himself jobless, borderline homeless, and fighting thoughts of suicide. The only thing that kept him going was God, a pen and pad and recording equipment, this would become his therapy, as he released his first mix tape. Since his first mix tape, Kastle has played 6 shows. He remembers his first show being the hardest, as he couldn’t stop stuttering on stage, he stated “I was so glad to finish that set.” With every show, though, he has learned something new each time. He has learned that rocking the stage is very important, and that you can put out hottest music, all day, but if your live performances suck, then that’s all that matters.

Casey works mainly out of his home studio, using a MXL 770 Condenser mic, subwoofer speakers, and adobe audition for recording software. He also works on making beats with Jruso and Choo Valentine. This might be changing soon, though, as Kastle Li was signed to “DownUnder Label Group,” recently and is working on his first album, “The wait was worth it” which is named after the fact, that this album was suppose to come out years ago, but was put off with a lot of set backs in life. He reassures that this album will be worth the wait, though. Kastle has grown so much in his rapping, becoming better at rhyming, timing and writing. Anyone that knew him previously will be able to tell the difference, in the upcoming album!

Over the years, he has had a lot of mentors, but Casey allows underdogs to motivate him to do better. They are always told they can’t do something, reminding him of his past, and then they are able to prove the person wrong. As he allows underdogs to motivate him, he also hopes to do some motivating himself. His plan is to reach out to the teens, of this generation, and tell them that they aren’t alone, that Jesus is there, and that he loves them. He continues by saying “Nothing you have ever done is too big for him to handle.” Though he looks to be motivated by underdogs, Kastle pulls a lot of inspiration from his father. His father was uneducated but you couldn’t tell by talking to him. He taught Casey that just because someone lacks something, doesn’t defect their worth, at all. His dad inspired him to work hard as he did, as his dad held down jobs on top of jobs, teaching Casey that work is out there, you just have to find it. His Dad sadly has passed on to Christ, but still inspires him, everyday!

“Rapper” is defined as someone who raps, in order to get the definition, we must first look up rap. Rap means to strike quickly and sharply; tap. This means that you must be able to spit lyrics quickly and sharply while also holding your composure, in order to be a good rapper. Rapping takes a lot of talent, something that most don’t have. Then there are those who make it look easy, that is Kastle Li. He will be one of the best, soon, make sure you don’t miss out on the start of his reign. With this guy having such a heart for God, there is only one way his career will go, God blesses those who bless him.

Casey wants to give a couple shout outs!
AY! I want to give a shout out to Stephen Samaroo, of 10:9 promotions for looking out for me. A shout out Eric P. Williams for being an open ear. When I was growing up, I was always listening to Country music. But now-a-days I would have to say if a kid is listening to music, they are listening to some wicked rhymes. I could bet money on this and win every time. The kids these days are wildly influenced by Rap, which scares me, since most rap songs contain sexual references, gang violence and drugs. But through all of the weed clouds, I was able to find an inspiring Christian rap group that speaks life through the darkness that others have caused. Michael Sullivan, the lead man of 878, took a seat with me and answered a few of my questions before his Album drops here, very shortly.
Mr. Sullivan grew up on the streets of Springfield, Illinois. While growing up, Michael failed to ever have a father figure in his life, this would lead to a rough beginning to his life as Little Mike was abused mentally and physically by his mothers boyfriends. While looking for guidance, Michael found the love that he wanted through the rough streets of Springfield, which led to selling drugs, theft, and vandalism. His actions were justified through the system, as Michael was put behind bars, this is where he met the God that he bases his songs around. Though Michael gave God all control, he still felt that he was alone as he battle through depression and addiction. Michaels faith was stretched to the limits when his cousin that helped produce his music was murdered. Michael referred to his cousin as his “Best friend.” With the loss in the family, Michael was about to give up on his faith, but even with him pushing God away, he was still shown an unconditional love that caused his heart to turn back to God. This was when he met his beautiful wife, Gloria in 2013. Thinking that he was finally going to have true happiness, Michael lived in harmony. But Glorias’ health gave up, causing her to have 10 surgeries, which almost caused her loss two times. With his wife in and out of the hospital, the young and happy family couldn’t keep up with their bills and lost their home. Michael was now homeless with a passion of music and a heart of prayer that would cause him to move to Florida to follow his dream led by God.
Before leaving for Florida, Michael began a group called 878. This name was very unique to myself. But then Michael filled me in to why he called it as it is. His cousin Christopher B Nesch opened the doors to this studio in 1998, in order for those who were unable to record due to cost, could still record. To Chris it was all about unity of one-another and the love of hip-hop. Chris formed the name when he spelt Tru through the numbers on a dial pad, which formed 878. This was to form Tru Rekordz, but the name had already been taken by another studio, so Chris decided to keep it 878 Rekordz, keeping the meaning in-tact. 878 was explained to me by Michael as “God is in the midst of us forever.” As the 8s on their sides are the sign of infinity, and the 7 represents the number of perfection, which is God. But 878 stands as a representation of anyone who represents Christ, and for those who are affiliated with them in the goal of spreading the gospel, of Christ, to the world.
Michael refers to “The art of music” as the expression of one person, and spends a lot of his time perfecting the beats that he creates and shares with his Partner in music Will B Loki. Michaels main goal though is to reach everyone that he can, which forces him to create content that many can relate to. This, he feels, will cause him to shine brighter as an artist trying to make it. But when asked how he responds to hatred by those who don’t believe in the rhymes that he spits about Christ, he responded “It just lets me know how lost the world really is and how much they are in need of a savior and makes me want to do my music that much more and spread his love.” His passion is undeniably amazing.
878 will be releasing “The day of Atonement”, which has a demo already out, in order for you guys to hear the amazing work behind the young group. In order for you guys to hear the work of 878, there will be a post tomorrow working around their talents. But I can tell you that with the heart and mind of Michael, and his inspirations being: 2 Pac, Lecrae, Trip Lee, Mercy Me, 3 Days Grace. You will be guranteed to find a song that you will find your head nodding to, and your heart being tugged towards.
Michael would like to thank these people for his success to this point: God, my wife, my family and everyone who supported me and I can’t forget about my dog Sullie nickname “Studio Dog”

Hey guys, I hope you are having an amazing day. It has been a slow dragging day, but I’m work now and ready to relax. I have a Friday off, tomorrow. A first in a long time, so I hope to relax and catch up on writing and other various things.

Today, I want to say “I love my family!” This includes any aunt’s, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, and parents. I love all of my family. They are super supportive (especially my dad,) and they would do anything to help me, which is why I love them! But I have to give a huge shoutout to someone that isn’t even blood!

My cousin, Matt, is truly amazing. The other day, I wrote a post about my new Flash figure. In the post I was talking about how I wanted to get a Jason Vorhees figure and a Hulk figure. I had all the intentions on buying them, I just wanted to get bills paid first, then I would buy the figures. Well, I got into the car yesterday for work. Ariel and I were giving him a ride (since they work together.) He got into the car and handed me a big box! I had forgotten that I even posted a post about those figures, so imagine the surprise when I opened the box. I opened the box to see the two figures, laying right beside each other.

My once tired body was now awake as I was filled with joy. The figures looked amazing in person, better than they looked online! My collection is satisfyingly complete. I would be okay with never getting another figure!

I want to say thanks to this amazing dude! You are truly a great friend, family, and brother! I could never ask for a better family member! Thank you for caring and for thinking of me, I’m in awe of the selfless act. It might seem like a small gesture, but it means a lot that someone would go out of their way to make someone happy.

Now, I want to introduce the new members to the clan. Jason Vorhees (my favorite serial killer) and The Hulk (my favorite Marvel superhero) are now on the desk of fame, and are now considered family!

Happy Father’s day to all the great Father’s out there. You are truly the M.V.P, and we appreciate all the work you do! If you weren’t here, then we wouldn’t have so many amazing people, in this world, that are making a huge difference! Thank you, dad, for showing me what I need to work on, and how to be an amazing person! I love you! Happy Father’s day! To you and all the other greats out there! In honor of my hero, I want to give my dad this post! I love you!

The other day I was sitting at work, talking to another crew about “Heroes.” She had asked me who my hero was in life, and I was stunned. I never thought about who I looked up to. I never even thought about having a hero. I was always so independent in life, most of the times I pushed everyone away.
I never wanted to look up to someone, then get close to them and have them leave. It was a fear that I could control. So I made it a mission to keep everyone out of my life. But now with my crew member asking me the question, I had to search inside of myself and ask the hard question. “Who is my Hero?”
“Who do I look up to?” I look up to my father. I look up to him for everything. I search his personality for answers to questions about life. If me and my wife get into a fight, he is the one that I look to for answers on questions I’m unsure about. Or if my car breaks down, he is the one that I call for the fix. He is truly the smartest person that I know. He seems to know everything that needs to be known.
My father hasn’t always had the chance to be a part of my life, but he has always been an outline. When my mother took us out of his care, he seemed to always be around, expecially when we were in trouble. He wouldn’t break any laws though, so when my mother got that restraining order, and moved us out of town, he respected the laws that were in place. He worked with a woman that never wanted to work with him. Then when it came down to getting us back, after we were put in the foster care, he did. He flipped every mattress trying to find us.
Someone that can be on the bottom of the chain, yet will help those who are willing to turn on you. That is my Dads character, and that is what I see as a hero. He has shown me over and over that if someone is in need, help. But what if you are broke? No, you help anyway you can. He showed me how to love my neighbor as myself. It was always like that in my house, you had to respect everyone (to a point) that you came in contact with.
I have become a strong man with all of his life lessons. I am willing to go to war for anyone that needs help. I am always that man that is looking for doors to hold open, or cars to push out of the snow. This is all because of one guy. The same guy that made me crucify my pride, and help those that don’t deserve the help. My father has been the savior my whole life. He is my hero, and one day, I hope I’m my sons hero, as well. It has been such an honor learning from my father, and there is still much to be taught!

It has been very hot here. Even in the past, through the heat, I have been able to write. But this heat is a lot worse than before. This heat has been kicking my butt, and is causing me to stand far from my laptop, and away from the writing world. The sweat is in my eyes, the heat is getting to my head, the words are becoming my worse nightmares. This heat needs to stop, or I might be dying….or at least writing from my bathtub.

Yesterday, while being on my day off, I attempted to write a new post. This was the post that went up yesterday, a post that I thought was going to be amazing. This it was, but it came at a great cost. The weather was, as it is today, a burning hell. This helped my house become a oven, and it happened that I was a loaf of bread, raising and burning in that oven. It was nice when I got home from doing my morning drive, I hoped that the day would be this nice. When I got home, I took a small nap in attempt to clear my head and get ready for a day of writing. This was the plan but that didn’t happen.

I woke up from my nap and I had a big headache. This was just great, how could I write if I had a headache? I asked myself, so in attempt to lose the headache, I jumped in a cool shower. The shower helped my head get off ten. I was feeling pretty good, but it also took a lot of my time away from writing. I knew that I needed to make up for that time, so I decided to pace myself enough to get everything done, this was averaging 2 post per hour for 3 hours. This was going to be a rough task, but it was needed to be done.

I got out of the shower, and sat down at my desk. My hair was still wet, my eyes were still blurry from the water, but I needed to get start. My damp fingers began to type a beautiful post, but as I got to the end of that post, I saw the words in a whole new set of eyes. My eyesight was close to gone, it was blurry, my head was back at ten and I was breaking out into a sweat. I felt dizzy, so I found myself on the floor, looking up at the ceiling. The thought of the post was on my mind, I knew that I needed to get this post done, so ignoring the dizziness, I got back up on my chair and tried to finish the post. It was going all right, but then I fell out of my chair.

I found myself next to a fan, knowing that was the problem, I was hot. I tried to do too much with an overheated body and it caused me to miss out on a boat load of time to write. That is my fault. I shouldn’t have forced myself to go so hard, especially knowing my body and how it reacts to the heat. I do promise to be more careful, but also this could be a sign that I need to get away from the heat. With Alaska being a dream home, maybe the evidence of not being able to write in heat will persuade my wife to move. This is hopeless thinking, but it is worth the try. So Ariel, if you are reading, please do me a favor and pack our stuff, we are moving when I’m done. To all my fans, I am currently in a bathtub, writing you guys this post. The ice is melting, that is how hot I am, so if you wouldn’t mind, close the f$%^#@% door, geez you guys are so inappropriate! Can’t I write without people peaking into my bathroom……
